Family-first Mobility

The world’s happiest ecosystem for international children.

In the large world of international relocations, even the youngest expats face a great change. Children and their families are a part of a community and when a family moves to another country, they leave this behind. While starting in a new environment can be thrilling, it can also present opportunities, especially when it comes to the diverse needs and considerations faced by international children and their families.

We believe that supporting these families goes beyond relocation logistics; it’s a commitment to make every move an enriching experience for international children. It’s a commitment to empower a systemic change towards a future where international children not only adapt but thrive.

Family Support Services

It takes a village to raise a child

“A parent is only as happy as their unhappiest child” is a direct explanation as to why a third of international assignment’s failure is attributed to family reasons. Children need support from their parents to successfully relocate and settle-in to life in a new country. In turn, their parents need support too.

When a family moves to another country, they leave their support behind. While some relationships continue to exist over distance, these people cannot support the influence and challenges that international relocation causes on the child’s development and sense of belonging.

At the same time, local communities often struggle to successfully adopt international families. This is caused by a combination of factors, such as: cultural and language barriers, the same lack of understanding the influence and challenges caused by international migration, or families themselves struggling to find and build meaningful connections.
